The Queen is dead and the Moroi world will never be the same. Now, with Rose awaiting wrongful execution and Lissa in a deadly struggle for the royal throne, the girls find themselves forced to rely upon enemies and to question those they thought they could trust…

But what if true freedom means sacrificing the most important thing of all?

Each other.

My review

PS : I will miss Rose badly 😥

Well I’ve already said everything on your review on you other website. To sum up, I was a little disappointed, I thought that Richelle would have done a better… firework. :p But it’s a very nice conclusion to the series, very happy for Rose, and as she deserves it, I’m satisfied. 😉

I tried to write some reviews but some was too long and the others… I couldn’t finished to write them.

This is another attempt to write what I feel about Last Sacrifice, one week after finishing it.

First of all, I think I have to start with: I loved this saga!!!!! Thank you so much for sharing your passion with us!

    This last book was amazing.

    Period.

    No, I’m kidding.

In this book, concerning this action, I liked that it’s not again a Strigoï fight, that it’s a conspiracy fight. But, I have to say that in the middle of the book I found who the killer was. But, I had some doubts after with what they found.

Concerning the love relationship, I can’t say that I’m not happy. I really was for Dimitri and Rose. But Richelle was really sadistic about their relation, really I was like “Noooon don’t do that PLEASE !”. Richelle has also her point: the way she makes them finally find each other is more powerful and more mature. That shows the evolution of Rose from the first to this last one. She loves him but she needs that both of us are completely “safe” and without any regret: very mature and responsible for her.
But, she didn’t seem so mature with Adrian. Because she wasn’t sure she can be with Dimitri, she forced herself to keep the love for Adrian whereas she knew she still loved Dimitri. I don’t say that she never loved Adrian, at the beginning, before the return of Dimitri, yes but after, her true feelings were revealed. Anyway, the reasons she gave to Adrian were weak I thought, but how can she explain her situation?

Poor Adrian, what he had done for her, how much he had changed for her, I like this man, really ! I hope, he will find someone who fits him more.

For the rest, Lissa and the rest, I don’t know how to explain what I liked and what I didn’t liked. But one question : have you ever think, when the “tournament” for becoming king/queen, at the step to answer the question, if no one succeed, what happened?

No, Rose used Adrian when Dimitri was turned Strigoï. I don’t say she didn’t love Adrian, but she clearly used him.

For the tournament, if nobody succeed, I think there will be other candidates.

In some way, she didn’t intend to use him, she tried not to be hurt by Dimitri rejecting her and showed that she was happy with Adrian, tried to be completely happy with him.
But I agree, at the end, all she did with Adrian, to Adrian can seemed to be using him.

    Other candidates ? Why not.
Other question (what do you thinl) (I’ll try to stop, I sware!) : all the candidates have a tattoo (like alchemists) not to speak about their tests, are they keeping it for the rest of their life?

I don’t think so, the tatoo has a limited effect until the end of the tournament… and I don’t think the losers want to share their failure with their family lol

Yes, I agree but, in the case of the next election (some years after). If the looser share his experiences with the next candidate, this candidate will be more likely to succeed than anybody else (as Lissa who didn’t know anything about what the tests were about).
Or, the tests are not the same from an election to another.
