Description

Aura’s life is anything but easy. Her boyfriend Logan died, and his slides between ghost and shade have left her reeling. Aura knows that he needs her now more than ever. She loves Logan, but she can’t deny her connection to the totally supportive, totally gorgeous Zachary. And she’s not sure that she
wants to.

Logan and Zachary will fight to be the one by her side, but Aura needs them both to uncover the mystery of her past—the mystery of the Shift.

As Aura’s search uncovers new truths, she must decide whom to trust with her secrets…and her heart.

My review

This sequel is less emotional and more action-packed with revelations about Zachary and Aura’s pasts and links.

Aura is torn between her died boyfriend Logan who turned into ghost, and her new sexy Scottish friend Zachary which seems have common point with her about the Shade. I was glad to have less Logan. I was uncomfortable with the fact than Aura couldn’t move on because she’s still sticked with Logan as ghost.

Fortunately, even if Logan is still present, there are more scenes with Aura and Zachary. Several moments are cute and sad, it was great to see them evolving and fighting for their love and for the truth.

Certain scenes, particularly with ghost, are very funny, and lighten the dark mood of the story.

In opposite with the first book, the ending of this novel is satisfying, but I will be delighted to have a third book which will release in Summer 2012 in the US!
