What I’m waiting for : Audition by Stasia Ward Kehoe

Audition by Stasia Ward Kehoe

When high school junior Sara wins a coveted scholarship to study ballet, she must sacrifice everything for her new life as a professional dancer-in-training. Living in a strange city with a host family, she’s deeply lonely-until she falls into the arms of Remington, a choreographer in his early twenties. At first, she loves being Rem’s muse, but as she discovers a surprising passion for writing, she begins to question whether she’s chosen the right path. Is Rem using her, or is it the other way around? And is dancing still her dream, or does she need something more?

The plot is interesting, I love dance, especially ballet, and it seems to be a cute love story. This is a debut novek and the story is wirrten in verse. I’m not a big fan of this kind of writing but maybe it will be surprising.

This story is really not for me^^, but i’m curious the writing in verse. I’ve never reading a book written like that.

I have read “Obsession” by Catherine Kalengula, and your rewiew let me think that “Audition” can be an interesting cute love story very poetic 😉 The art of classic dance is really hard but SOooooo beautiful to see, (or to read in our case) !

I love the topic too… But the fact that it’s written in verse scares me a little, I’m not sure to like it. I’ll wait your review to know a bit more about this one.^^
